Visit Scotland & Ireland

After talking it over we decided to scale the trip back to just one country rather then running around to visit 2. So, since I’m half Irish, Ireland it is. Scotland will have to be another trip.

We made the decision last night that one year from now we’ll leave for a trip to Scotland & Ireland. Our plan is to travel out of the country at least every other year. Last year it was Germany & Austria.

Planning is half the fun!

I’m officially going to Scottland in July :)
Am also thinking of going to Dublin or somehwere like that for my birthday this year (August). Anyone got any ideas of where to go??
I want to make 08 the year I do the things I always wanted to :)

I would like to learn to dance an Irish jig with a group and a Scottish dance, as well. I would also like to visit my clan’s home Castle Kildonan in Caithness, Scotland.

That I live in England and have never been to Scotland or Ireland. And they’re both meant to be so beautiful. And I have little drops of Scottish and Irish blood in me, actually quite a bit of Irish!!! tut tut, tis shameful :P

These are 2 great countries with so much history, the people are friendly (acquire a taste for Guinness, Whiskey and Baileys’ and you will never drink alone) and the scenery is just spectacular.
