Have finally been able to get the walls stripped of the hideous paper that has been plaguing me since I moved in. Many have tried in vain, but thanks to the serious cleverness and ridiculous stamina of one mate, they managed to get it all gone.. At last!!!

Now for the mammoth task of trying to figure out colour schemes. As it isn’t the largest of rooms (and neither is the separate toilet which I would like to match) I am thinking simple, subtle and hopefully stylish, possibly white and hints of black. 16 months ago

I took the bull by the horns this afternoon or rather the wallpaper by the stripper and began ripping it from the walls. It is actually quite cathartic, progression is slow but am hoping if I keep motivated with loud music I can get it finished.

Finally we have hanged up the big mirror and installed the lights. In the celiling we’ve put a little lavender lamp that goes fine with the other stuff we have there in.
I will mark this goal has done. The bathroom now looks nice enough. 22 months ago

I don’t have much money and I’m apartment living, so I’m keeping it simple. I want to stencil whiter white images on my walls and do accent striping (a slender one or two per wall) in a pale yellow. Then I’m hanging some harmonious pics and setting up plants in them that I rotate so they get to keep enough sun. Does it even sound like it’s going to be pretty? 23 months ago
