It’s so close but so far away. Now they are saying theres an 80% chance it will go up. The only thing that would hold it back now is the weather.
I am so EXCITED ….. ..... ......

The news is saying theres a 70% chance that the shuttle WILL go up. That’s a pretty good percentage for shuttles.
I hope it goes, it’s not like I can drive over there every other day.

I’m just 3 days away from this goal. I have every intention of doing it. I just need to have Kennedy Space Center on my side.

Next shuttle launch is coming soon. Weather providing and nothing else happens to delay this launch I am planning to leave work early and head over to the other coast for this launch.
I’ll cry, I just know I’ll cry. This will be so exciting. I get goosebumps thinking about it.
All I can say is “God please bring them back safely”.

This isn’t cancelled. I have it all arranged at work for someone to cover for me. I have my mapquest printed out so now it’s all about the mission. Hopefully it will take place and I can be there to see it.

This should be easier than it is. I live close enough so I could make a day trip out of it but they SCRUB the lift offs so much it is hard to know when to go.
I’m going to check the schedule again and see what I can do about getting this goal taken care of.
The next one is Friday, June 8th at 7:37 p.m. This could be doable.
Can you imagine watching a space shuttle lifting off the ground while the ground shakes? Woooow
I saw this goal on Velonut’s list and remembered I wrote all about doing this but it was on OfficeManager’s comments. Thanks to both of you, since I’ve dragged you into my post.
So, here’s my story about seeing the shuttle.
Incredible experience!
