Into the groove 3 weeks ago

I’ve been steady working out for at least two weeks now and it’s going well. At least twice a week I fit the gym and two or three times a week I go to Water Aerobics with my wife. I’m feeling really good, and know it’s just a matter of time and determination, before the results start speaking for themselves.
I still need to make some moderate improvements in my diet, but I’m not far off from that.

The bare essentials of my new get fit routine are as follows:

1) Squats
2) Push-ups
3) Chin-ups/Pull-ups
4) Bicycle crunches

This, along with some good cardio, is my daily routine. Simple and sweet, I’ve done my research and this plan will should make the most efficient use of my time and workout.

I hope to get this, or at least the bulk of this done every morning first thing. This is going to be tough…

I have Joined my Local Gym and am working toward getting super fit again!!...I will be going to the Gym at least 4-5 times per week

Like anyone else I want to live a healthy life. Of course getting “supper” fit is kind of a nod to my vanity :P. In any case I want to reach a new level of fitness that is consistent with my life goals and also eye candy for my wife ;).

after putting off running at the beginning of the week, i managed to run 3 days in a row.. i have adopted the goal for running every day 100 days in a row.. after 100 days, i am going to be super fit.. so wish me luck!!

Week : August 4-8, 08 11 months ago

I’ve made a new plan that I am going to run 5 days from Monday to Friday and then take a break on the weekend. This should not be so hard as I already run 5-6 days a week… Let see what I can do for this week..

Monday : run 3.5 kms, walk 200 meters, 30 pushups, drumbell lifting
Tuesday : run 3 kms, walk 500 meters, weight lifting..
Wednesday : run 3.5 kms., walk 500 meter, weight lifting

sunday 27 July 08 : Run 3 k + 30 pushups + weight lifting + run up stairs..

monday 28 July 08 : Run 4 k + 30 pushups + weight lifting + drumbell lifting.(i didn’t feel tired nor lazy so i kept on running until i reached 4 k. which i felt febulous about myself. ;])

tuesday 29 July 08 : i ran up and down the stairs to fix the leaking water.. (does this count???)

wednesday 30 July 08 : run 3 k. + 30 pushups + drumbell lifting

thursday 31 July 08 : run 3 k. + 30 pushups + weight lifting

thursday 17 july : swim about 30-40 mins
friday 18 july : swim about 30-40 mins
saturday 19 july : swim about 30-40 mins

this week:
sunday 20 July : took a break
monday 21 july : run 3 k + 20 pushups + weight lifting
tuesday 22 july : run 3 k + 30 pushups + drumbell lifting
wednesday 23 july : run 3 k + 30 pushups
thursday 24 July : run 3 k + 30 pushups
friday 25 July : run 4 k + 30 pushups

i wish i eat less so i will loose more weight.. argh!!!
