meet someone that 'gets' me

When I met him I thought it was unbelievable, but; then it turned out that the only surprise we had in each other was that we were so alike!
The only difference was that I did like milk a lot but cold, and him a hot

happy to have him in my life, I am happy that someone like him exists to listen to me and tell me about me even if he talks about himself !

since switching schools i met two ppl that totally “get” me. one is like my clone and she and i have counted 5 things different about us and its dum stuff like she likes tomatoes and i dont so we are so similar. the other one is a guy who is amazing and cares about everybody. i love having ppl that understand who i am and everything. there is nothing like it!

When I went to college, it meant a whole new group of people with no pre-concieved ideas about who I was and how I was supposed to act. I was naturally drawn to people who are similar to me. I have found 1 person who I believe “gets” me; and I like to think I “get” her as well. It might not be totally and completely, but let’s face it, that’s nearly impossible. It’s all about what you choose to share about yourself. I think someone who “gets” you is someone who you can tell absolutely anything to and accepts it. This may be something that develops, too. It took a year of knowing them to realize who my 2 closest friends are. And if you had told me a year ago that I would be this close to those people, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s out there, just keep looking.

lol i cant give advice to this their somewhere out there just have to go on through life praying that u’ll meet them.

maybe instead of looking for someone that ‘gets’ me I should be looking for someone that I ‘get’...

This is so rare, but I think achievable. I can’t wait to find this.

To really find someone that “gets” me wholly… im unsure with my pessimistic (and realistic) mind that that ‘wish’ will ever be fulfilled. To find someone that understands my logic, humour, attitude, priorities and ambition – in short my overall mind set – and for them to share those or compliment them all, to me is a dream…. but who says one cant dream!?

I just want someone with the same beliefs and on the same wavelength…that’s hot. Haha
