Super plush cream colored socks. Heaven. Good socks just make life so wonderful. I’ll be wearing my bright orange super plush socks tomorrow to celebrate Evenstar42’s birthday. Oh, the multi-looped pleasure of really good socks!

(I suppose it’s a little silly that I indicated I would be willing to help anyone else with this goal. How likely is it that someone is going to question me about socks?) 5 years ago

This is so great. OK, bit of a story. My husband saved all of those care packages you get in first class on airlines. He had a collection of three big bins, whittled down to one very full bin during our multiple moves. He has been dead for over a year and I still had that bin under my bed in the new place. I knew I needed to do something about it, that it was unnecessary clutter and a big feng shui energy suck. So last night I went through every single packet in there, ripping off plastic and ransacking each clever little set-up. I made a pile of toiletries and cases to go to the local Mission (my motto: Making Winston-Salem Smell Better One Bum at a Time) and got some stuff for myself and….

I ended up with 4 pairs black, 4 pairs blue, 1 pair green and 1 pair neon-bright orange socks! Thick, cushy, long, lovely socks for free! It was like the Universe rewarded me for not holding on to things I don’t need. Also got a pair of those fold-up slippers and a ton of eye shades and ear plugs. Score! 5 years ago

standing between me and utter confidence? My socks. Super plush socks that didn’t fall down would greatly increase my confidence and success. Socks, much like panties, should be unobtrusive at worst and delightful to the mind and body at best. Once I settle up my move-in costs, I’m getting me some new socks. 5 years ago

I have two pairs of super plush cashmere socks and whenever I wear them, the whole day goes better. If I could find the gift card my boss got me for Christmas, I’d spend the whole thing on cashmere socks. 5 years ago
