Pay my past due library fees

I spend a lot less at B&N these days.

I just got back from a nice walk and paid off my $2.25 that I owed the library in late fees. Now I guess my goal is to not get anymore late fees, otherwise I’ll have to add this to my list again.

I think my fee is more like $2 (or maybe even less), but I haven’t bothered to pay it for weeks because the library I go to has an automated system for checking stuff out so I never deal with the librarians.

I lost five books three years ago. I haven’t paid up yet, mostly due to laziness and embarrassment. I’m afraid I’ll walk into my library and see my picture on some sort of Wall of Shame.

I need to just bite the bullet and cut them a check. I’m tired of buying books I’m only going to read once.
