Find that special person

Finding that one person, your “soul mate” is a common goal among people. Who wouldn’t want to? I am no different. I believe in loving yourself first, and I believe in unconditional love from God, and although those things may be completely satisfying… it’s not enough. People need people. It’s simply how we’ve been programmed. I know that now, and it’s encouraging because for a while there I was planning on just going it alone my entire life. To find that person who stops you in your tracks, who appeals to every sense of who you are, who brings out the unbridled and true you with no shame or regret… is amazing. To have that person feel the same way about you, is heaven. Everybody has their other half, somewhere in this world. Maybe there is more than one person who would complete you. But chances are we’ll only meet one in our lifetime, if we’re even that lucky. I intend to find the person for me, my best friend. And I intend to listen to God and pay attention when he whispers advice. If that involves sitting around and letting them come to me, then so be it. But for now, I think it’s time to get out there and meet people. I wish luck to everyone who shares the bold ideal that I have!!

This is simply a reminder to pay attention out there. Everything happens in its own time and in its own way.
