How to exercise 5 times a week
How I did it: I joined a club rugby team, which was a great help, and took up jogging and weight training in addition. Now, I run regularly, and do 5K and 10K races when I can.
Lessons & tips: Try to find a buddy, or a group of people who are of a similar fitness level to you. It's a little easier to get into a routine when you've got some friends to back you up!

Thu – 50 min yoga DVD
Sat – 40 min hike with 2 four-pound weights

2 1/2 hours of weeding, including way too much hoeing.

Mon – Walked for 3 1/2 hours – Coney Island/Brighton Beach Boardwalk, etc. Walked 1 more hour through Park Slope neighborhood.
Tue – Walked for about 3 1/2-4 hours. From above Times Square, down Broadway to Canal Street with some zigging and zagging for bookstores, etc. along the way. 4-5 miles?
Wed- Walked for 2 hours
Thu- Recouped from travel
Fri – Nada

Wed – worked a 12 hour day and didn’t get to the gym. This week and next will be off since I’ll be traveling. Hopefully will get some walks in!
Thu – 60 min yoga class
Sat – 1 1/2 hour walk in Prospect Park plus 3 hours of serious cleaning, ranging through all floors of a three story house and its basement
Sun – Walked at least 2 hours
