clean my room once and for all

I am diligently working on it today! And doing a super laundry day! Today is super cleaning. I should do the FlyLady 15 minutes afterward >_o

on a clean slate

I cleaned and cleaned for several days straight and its as clean as its going to get. I just have a lot of stuff. I can walk easily without tripping and my cat likes to spend time in here again, so I’m green.

but at least everything has it’s spot. jn said it’s the cleanest she’s ever seen it. she’s right.

even though there is not enough room for about 200 books, they are stacked neatly along my wall. i’ve gotten rid of a lot of things too. pens without ink, embarassing writings, paper, paper, and more paper. my room is still horribly cluttered, though. according to my mom, it looks worse than before. but my brother really likes it. he said you can see the books more, like a lirbray. whooo! before they were kinda hidden by my bed, but i rearranged my furniture, and it’s much more open. there’s no desk either, which is strange, but i think i like it better. my dad is working on fixing up the attic space which is adjacent to my bedroom, and i’m going to make that a closet/reading nook. once everything in my room has it’s place, i’ll cross this one off.

jn and i sorted 25% of my books by size today. it took about an hour. the piles are neat and run up the wall. they look sweet, but it’s really no way to keep books. i need to buy more shelves. i need to get rid of everything that is under my bed too. i haven’t touched that stuff for ages. i’m considering having a yard sale so i can have money for coffee. i mean, for gas.

I worked on it all Spring Break and gave up. I can walk without tripping, but theres still stuff EVERYWHERE. I have too many clothes.
