BringMeThunder your breath, your bugs, your bones
sugar scrub next time I can afford to buy groceries.
In a small jar, I mixed olive oil, lemon rind and juice, course sea salt, and a little white vinegar. My skin feels so gooood.
How I did it: Based on the limited ingredients I had around the house, I took out an old jelly jar and started throwing things together:

I decided to support a fellow business-woman and ordered some yummy scrubs from www.skindecent.com – but maybe when I have the empty containers, I’ll use them to make my own scrubs. Putting them in tupperware is just sort of lame.
Brown Sugar Scrub
4 cups sugar
4 cups brown sugar
1 cup finely ground almond meal or apricot meal
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup almond oil or apricot kernel oil
2 T. avocado butter – melted (optional)
5-10 drops vitamin E oil
fragrance if desired
sunflower oil if desired
Combine all ingredients and spoon into desired container. Allow the scrub to sit overnight after the addition of the 1/2 cup of almond or apricot kernel oil. If more oil is necessary, add the sunflower oil to your desired scrub consistency.
I make them all the time :) I think they work really well. Just mix sugar and oil and some essential oil or vanilla extract and use it in the shower :) You can also use sea salt, which I like better.
