Have I told you that I’m a total Latin American/Spanish movie freak?
I don’t know what is it, but I’ve always found something magical in those movies.
Today I had a good movie session that included, I’d HIGHLY recomend any of these movies to anyone:
1. Cosas Insignificantes (Mexico)

2. La Teta Asustada (Peru)

3. Mother and Child (Mexico/USA)

All were brilliant renowed movies that I was meaning to watch and my pillow was soaked with my tears in the end of the session.
I love those!
I feel like watching some movies from Iran though, these days. 12 months ago

I accidentally deleted two of Pedro Almodóvar movies that I was hardly able to find and save on my lap top.

I watched two more Almodóvar movies, and watched Tristana (1970, Luis Buñuel) in last a few days.
Spanish people are not able to do bad movies apparently!
A few days ago, I’ve made a presentation about biography and movies of Pedro Almodóvar, for my Spanish class, in Spanish. Wohoo! Go me!2 years ago

I’m completely wrapped by Pedro Almodóvar movies and I tend to think that he’s one the most remarkable director ever.
I’ve recently seen and re-seen :
- Volver / To return
- La mala educación / Bad Education
- Hable con ella / Talk to Her
- Todo sobre mi madre / All about my mother
- Carne tremula / Live flesh
- Tacones lejanos / High Heels
- Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios / Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown
and I’ve got
- Kika
- Pepi, Luci, Bom y otras chicas del montón / Pepi, Luci, Bom and Other Girls Like Mom
- Entre Tinieblas / Dark Habits
that are to be watched very soon.
It’s obvious that I’ve got a thing for Spanish-spoken movies :-) 2 years ago
