save and invest money

Invested in the market again today, bought stocks rather than mutual funds this time. A little splurge-y but what the heck.

You gotta be kidding so now I am not going out for breakfast. Eating oatmeal shouldn’t be that expensive and I can’t afford to do it so haven’t gone for 2 weeks.

May has been a lovely month for my first investments. 5% return this month tho I try not to pay attention to it too much.

I ordered mutual funds and as of today will be investor.

Don’t blame me if it is a Black Monday 07! :-D

I have not ever been involved in this and never attempted to know anything about it but, as I tend to do when I get involved in something, I pour myself into learning about it.

I have done my research on mutual funds and Monday is the day to become an investor.

I will give my current auto insurance agent the opportunity to meet the other company’s rate but if I can save $160 a year, that is not a bad thing.

Well I found through ehealth site medical insurance that is a lot less than the COBRA I am paying through my former group policy, so $140 less per month is wonderful!

I finally did something about getting out of a money market into a total allocation portfolio which means instead of the lame percentage a money market gives the return should be better. Should being the operative hopeful word.

OMG, large cap, small & mid cap, ETFs, stocks, indexes, moderate, aggressive, conservative, CDs…eek. Researching this stuff but now brain is tired, it is a whole new language.

Finally went to a company re investing! So now I have taken that first step towards improving my financial situation. It was listening to people speak greek, alot of the terms I had to say “whoa, what the heck is that?” But pleased I finally did it. Now to learn and figure out more about these things.
