The pay stinks...... 16 months ago

But it’s so worth it to get to experience life, if you’re necessities are met, why work yourself to death, money is no fun when your dead, neither are your children, pets, family, etc…so if you’re not willing to slow down and work less, ya might as well start picking out caskets, etc, yep, well worth stretching my budget farther if it meant I actually had a life for a change.

I would like a 40 hour work week 17 months ago

I don’t mind working, I’m a capricorn for heavens sake, but beyond 40 hours, I’m really no good.

i forgot about this goal. i actually quit working at jewel but got a new job at walgreens. i’ve been there almost a year now and it’s been really good. finally i don’t feel like i’m killing myself while working two jobs. :)

Freedom is the ultimate... 2 years ago

I enjoy not having to be someone’s bitch. Embrace freedom! It’s well worth the risk.

I got less shifts! I think this item is done!

Just slip a note! 2 years ago

I slipped a note to cut me from night shifts! I need less nights and more days. Yay! But when you don’t want to get apocalyptic with your demands for less shifts; y’know how it goes ” eithere give me more time off or I quit!”, then just slip a note. Be friends with your boss. DOn’t be a hermit at work. Be friendly. Project an aura that you are on top of things, that you aren’t replaceable. It makes it that much harder for your boss to let you go. Make peaceful demands. If they don’t comply go apocalyptic but don’t start that way!
