have more time for my family

I’m starting a new job in two weeks. One of the perks is a much shorter commute—I still get to ride the train but not so far.

that America has become enslaved by their house payments and their credit card debts. They work 50+ hours a week to “provide the best for their families” only to turn around and find that their families are grown and gone and they have indeed missed out on the best the parents have to offer…themselves, their time. Noone ever lays on their deathbed wishing they’d spent more time at the office. No, they regret the time they could have spent with their children and loved ones. We have made a commitment to not have those regrets. Yes, we do with out a lot. However, what we gain in exchange is worth more then all the gold in the earth.

I spend too much time working and too much time commuting.
