This is great! defiantly worth doing!
I became a vegetarian in 2006 and at first it seems there really is no way of avoiding meat but theres so much choice out there, theres a vegetarian substitute for almost anything! =]
Plus you save around 100 animals a year and you feel so much more healthy!

do it!
its not too hard, do it slowly if you cant at once.
you’ll be healthier and you’ll have a lesser chance of getting cancer.
not to mention all the animals saved!
if you start to lack iron, ask your doctor about iron pills.
DO IT FOR THE ANIMALS!

I gave up vegetarianism for a couple months after trying it for four or five months, and I just feel better about myself and my diet when I followed a vegetarian diet. Its difficult though when I have to feed my meat-eating/loving 12 year old son. I will do try to maintain it this time.

Its been great so far. Seeing videos-on PETA.com-on what is done to the animals before they arrive on your plate is enough to convert most. Now that i am reading up on it there are numerous reasons to make the switch health, enviroment, peace of mind… the list goes on. Oh yeah and i have also been vegan a week now.
P.S. Any new vegetarian teens should really pickup a copy of Vegetarian Manifesto. Great book lots of facts and easy to read. Hope i helped somebody.
Peace and Love.

I have been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for 5 months now. I do not eat any meat (fish included) and so far I do not miss it either. There were no reasons for my switch in diet, I just wanted to try a new lifestyle and so far it’s working nicely.
