Just finished a lotus flower…inspired by the lotus inside a Yogi Tea box.
Done on my “towel of creation”...a kitchen towel that I’ve been drawing designs on and embroidering.

A set of 4 tea-towels. They turned out so cute!

I’m stitching up some kitchen towels for my mom for Christmas. I just finished the 3rd and want to get 1 or 2 more done before the big day. I’m running out of time!!!
Texas Lin is very grateful for the wonderful people in my life
I spent hours embroidering wonderful things for them from blankets to christmas decorations to special touches around the house.
When I married my husband who was an attorney I quit doing needlework. I’m not sure why. It was something I truly loved to do.

I set this goal and got working on it before I got around to posting it on my 43 Things. Well, it took a few weeks, but I finished a kitchen towel! I got some iron-on patterns at Wal-Mart. I’ll take a picture soon and post it of what I did. You can totally tell it’s an amateur effort..I’ve only embroidered a few other things before, and it’s been a LONG while. Still, I think it turned out really nice. I’m excited to start a set of towels for my mom for Christmas.
pictures coming soon…
