    Sometimes you just have to tear the paper. Maybe use a little glue. We can’t all be origami experts. Purists can suck it up.

    ...but I actually completed this goal. Last weekend we went down to San Diego for our niece’s wedding shower/partay/BBQ. When we arrived (at 3:00 a.m. Saturday), one of the other nieces was busy making party decorations—origami cranes.

    Ha! The perfect opportunity! I took a piece of paper off of a legal pad, made a couple of random folds, panted a few times, let out a little yelp, et voila!
