Scarlett if this city never sleeps, does it mean that no-one ever dreams?

think of all the beauty 4 weeks ago

On Sunday and today I’ve been productive! I cleaned my apartment yesterday – this took me hours simply because although I have a small apartment, I’ve been living like a slob ever since I got back from my holiday… but now, now everything’s all shiny and spotless! And it feels so good. ♥

I also pampered myself a little, namely by taking a lovely, long shower, also used delicious face and body scrubs (raspberry and avocado – respectively!) and painted my nails bright red. And I exercised as well! First time in months and I felt so great afterwards. Note to self: do exercise more often, you’ll feel better and in the long run even look better. My muscles are a bit sore today though but that’s understandable and expected, to be fair.

Monday, then, (that is, today) after a long day at work, I finally took some steps and completed the first phase of a possibly life-changing undertaking. :) I thought I would be more anxious at this point but I actually feel much more tranquil. Now I can only wait and see.

Additionally, I baked some very delicious bread today: used whole wheat flour and added pumpkin seeds, parsley and sour orange >> so yummy! Recommended. :)

I’ve been rather efficient in spending money as well – my bank account does not approve, I’m sure. But I can’t wait to receive one prettypretty dress I ordered, imagine this: a pencil skirt dress, black with red dots. Hmm, can’t wait!

    Life is quite good. ♥

oh, and do check out She & Him if you haven’t already, highly addictive ♥

I'll write something later. 1 month ago

I’m in school right now and although I do some of my homework in a timely manner, I mostly wait until the last minute to finish it. Even then, I’ll occasionally leave a tiny bit of work to cram in before class.

I also don’t do my AA work in a timely manner, again saving it until the last minute.

I want to procrastinate less 1 month ago

but I never seem to get around to it. Always something else to do.

    Untitled 2 months ago

I’m procrastinating right now making this list. I feel like the computer completely ruined my day. I need to get more energy so i don’t feel the need to lie around all day doing this sort of thing. I don’t usually spend the WHOLE day on this, today was an especially lazy day being the first full day off in 7 days, but I waste time all too often.

    help

barefootmama0709 is going to make my son breakfast

    Untitled 3 months ago

Since adding this goal, I’ve cleaned out the fruit bowl, made tomato sauce, made the beds, done a load of laundry and cleaned my bedroom. Every time I want to put something off, this goal nags me, and I don’t. I am more relaxed, more self-motivated, and more productive.

Sunday Bloody Sunday 3 months ago

Pretty self-explanatory really. I work five days a week, four in (Monday to Thursday), one off (Friday), over two weeks then five (Monday to Friday) in a row over the third week, with Sundays always being free. So you’d think with this consistant rota I’d be doing something productive on my days off. Alas, in the words of Neil Hannon’s “Frog Princess” “But oh no! Not me!” Because the hours are neither early nor late (I work 11 til 8, carnt drive YET) I spend most of my spare time sleeping or awake and wishing I was sleeping. Or in a bus. Or at a bus stop. So, yeah, bring on the productivity. If something grips me enough I have a very strong will and work ethic. It’s just finding that damned something. I’ve fulfilled one of my life’s ambitions, to grow (some of) my own food, but I need something with instant results, such is my membership of my g-g-generation.

the woman i am working with owns her own businis and procrastinates like she gets paid to do so. she has excuses for why thing didn’t get done coming out her ears, inc.; the kids are on summer break, the kids were away and i had time to my self, it was so nice outside, it was so horrable out side, the phone was ringing off the hook, i got sucked into a tv show… and on and on and on. after trying to work with her for months ive decided one thing:
im either working or not. if im working, im not goignt o heve the tv on- or the kids at my feet, or my sister on the line- im gogint o be working. if im not working- im not going to be thinking about work- thinking i only have one more hour, or two more things to check off. i’ll make pop-corn for my movie, or meet up with friends. no more of this half working half not thing-

it just wastes time that could be productive
    or could be fun

Elizabeth is trying to finish studying for her Biochemistry test

    Untitled 4 months ago

Instead of using my time to study, sleep or STUDY I surf the net (and not useful sites) and generally waste my time (TV, books (mostly novels) etc) , and always end up rushing to finish studying the assigned material.

I will try to be more organized….that should be another goal…

    Lemon_Seed ROOOAR!

    Untitled 5 months ago

I know that I will never be able to completely stop procrastinating, which is, in fact, a good thing. Life would become too boring if I did. Still, I guess I procrastinate too much. I should be able to get some things done, at least…
