YAY! Life has been beautiful lately. Took a life vacation to Texas. And took a real vacation down to San Antonio :) so much fun.

How I did it: As a freelancer, I worked 24/7/365 to make ends meet and I had workaholic tendencies. I got a new true 9-5 corporate job that offered 10 days of vacation. I took them! I had vacation for the first time since I was in high school. It also helps to have a boyfriend who likes to travel and whose parents live in Hawaii.
Lessons & tips: No one is going to give a vacation. You have to it.

The lady friend wants to go to New York City. I’m cool with this if we can find an acceptable package price.

On May 30th we are leaving for Crete, Greece! My first time there, so I can’t wait!
A goal of mine. I just went to Cancun, Mexico back in late July, 2008 but want to get away again. Vacations are so much fun!
VACATION

People should take vacations at least every 3 months. It doesn’t have to be far away (although, I require SE Asia), or expensive. Just go somewhere, anywhere where you can relax and unwind. I usually find my self in a jungle or a tropical island, however, my next trip seems to be a toss up between Scotland and Mongolia. Anyway, just go. Take a few days off and enjoy.

So I’ve since returned from my vacation and it has been just fabulous. I’ve traveled many cities, much of that in Spain, seen many pretty/nice/cool things and had lots of fun.
I hope I can get those good vibes going for a while still.

I’m officially on vacation. I’m kind of dissapointed I’m not going away on real vacation. It is realllly nice not to have to work thou.
