How I did it: " A tree without roots is a pile of debris." therefore,my first step in converting to Buddhism was forming an understanding of my (ex_religion) because it is inextricably linked with my psychological formula.
Afte that,I started analyzing and criticizing it. Then, I asked my self if it is really worth_practicing and worth_following or not.
Finally, I reached up a conclusion that I am not converting to Buddhism because my (ex_religion) is false and Buddhism is true. This way of approaching things with such god_like judgments and dogmatic ideas is extremely horrible . However, I am following a way of life and a system of thoughts that accord with
my way of thinking and mind structure.
Lessons & tips: The main lesson I have got of practicing Buddhism is that: The Buddha did not struggle to form a religious and political bloc in north_east India.
He asked a question.
"How can we find happiness and redemption?"
He answered it by following the Middle Way and the Eight Fold Path. Then the Buddha dedicated his life
for teaching this to people.
Day after day, I gradually find that the Buddha's teachings are more than a religion or a philosophy.
Because we fossilize Buddhism by describing it as a religion, a philosophy, or a set of beliefs.

Christianity is such a superficial religion. Going to church, reading the bible, that’s all great.. but it’s not doing anything for me. The only problem I would have with converting to Buddhism is dealing with my parents, who are strict Roman Catholics!
More than half a year has passed since I converted to Buddhism.
Now I am practicing theoretically by reading the Sutras and practically by meditating and following the “Middle Way.”

As a non-practising christian I have found very little satisfaction in all the laws and teachings of the bible.
If anybody can help me convert or advise me as to how i can convert then please reply,

This religion really intrests me, and I want to start going to the Buddhist meditation at the town meeting house.
I converted to Buddhism; it is a peaceful religion that guides and enlightens you through the way of redemption.Buddhism says I am supposed to be a good man for this is my sterling nature ,not because there is a God whom I must worship or He will Throw me in Hell where I will be smitten to shreds. At the same time, I never deny my past as a non-practicing Muslim .Yet I have to make my future.
Look I really need help on this. I want to convert, and i’ve been following the ways of the Buddha, but i have not told my parents, as they are very strict christians. How can i convert without them knowing?

Last week I walked into the doors of Seattle Betsuin, a Shin Buddhist temple. Before I went to the temple I read their entire website time and time again to make sure I didn’t do ‘the wrong thing.” Enter with your left foot and bow. Exit with your right.
The people I met were friendly and supportive of me. I was the only visitor that day so people were stoked to see me.
The temple (hondo) is beautiful. When you walk in it is breath taking. A beautiful golden shrine to the Buddha stands encapsulated in light, flowers and incense.
