    Philosophy class 2 years ago

    I was entering a new school for 11th grade (a long time ago), and thought I was advanced enough to take classes for seniors, so signed up for Philosophy. Wow! That was when I started thinking enough to know that I had never done so before!!!

    The class required a “Credo” to be delivered for an entire class period (presentation, then discussion). The credo took the entire year to prepare. (“Credo” = “I believe”) One had to understand (about self):
    • What I believe
    • What I want to be
    • What I like
    • What is true, not true
    • etc.

    Unique class. I highly recommend it for the Credo. I’ve never heard of this done anywhere else, and would be curious to see if anyone else has had this kind of class

    (You Lakeside School grads would have, of course…!!)
