"It's hard to hang out when you live 500 miles away from one another... but when your paths finally cross, it is so awesome and heartening"

How I did it: I told my sister that she should come visit me...  so she scheduled some hard to get time off of work, and made the trip!  Planning weekend travels around holidays and long weekends makes it a lot easier to make the most of our time together.

Lessons & tips: Just be persistent and plan.  Traveling is expensive, but when you can find the extra cash and time off of work... making trips to see family friends and loved ones is super worthwhile.

    She moved to Arizona a couple of months ago. And it killed me that I wasn’t able to spend much time with her before she left. But I flew down to arizona to visit her last week, it was a much needed familiar, happy, and just nice reminder of why everything is worth it. I feel closer than ever to her.

    She lives less than a mile away from me, yet neither of us ever can find the time to just hang out. We used to not get along, but now that things are better I really wish we could spend more time together.
