become a special fx makeup artist

I’ve been looking for months for an affordable school in the Florida area. Though I want to do this, it is a HUGE commitment to move near to California to find an affordable school. My life is in Florida, and hopefully, my schooling and future career will be too.

getting into something like this has peaked my interest for a while now but i have no clue what the job market is like or how well you can make a living off this. and alot of people i talk to just raise an eyebrow and ask if i’m sure that’s what i wanna do. i just wish i could find someone who went thru everything already for support instead of neysayers

i got an email today to say that i have been unconditionally accepted onto my course!!!! 1st step completed!!!!

yup yup woooo! i have written my personal statement and i am trying to get some work experience sorted out! i have been well organised this week!

just got to get the lot in the post now and hope that i get an interview!

only a few weeks until the open day! i’m getting really excited

i have had a look and i think that my best bet is bolton uni, booked myself onto an open day to see what it’s all about!

I’m moving this coming year to LA (cali) to go to MUD make up school. Suppost to be the best..we shall see..

There is so much about special fx make up that intrest me.. i’ve always been good at make up.. (not my own) but everyone elses.. haha

I have always wanted to do makeup of any kind but special fx and prosthetics interests me the most. I am hoping to go to school for it soon plus change my job profession to appling and selling makeup. I went to beauty school for 2 years and got my liscense in hair but now I need to venture out and do what I really love.
