Has anybody understood what system determines how many cheers you get? Do they increase if you receive a lot of cheers? If you make comments to others’ entries? Or do you just get a fixed amount daily? I’d like to figure this out…

I didn’t give away all my cheers this morning, and now they have been robbed. 4 of my cheers have disappeared! I should have given 1848 now, but (1 short of my goal), but now that I finally had the time to hand the last 4 out, the cheer goblin has eaten them. :O(
