Remember when there was that fad where pictures were made from lots of little pictures? Like mosiac tiles. Anyhow, I have a puzzle of the world like that and it’s been on my shelf for ten years. I’ve done other puzzles in the meantime, but never had the time or space to get far with this one.

I bought two plastic boards for this, but it turns out they are too small. The puzzle is 120×80cm, and the boards 100×100cm.
However some work can be done
Okay, so it was a 300-piece Jack Sparrow puzzle… not exactly mind-cracking, but still counts. I tried a different one first, (started with 1000 pieces) slightly more tricky, but I had to give it up… apparently my dog has developed a taste for pressed cardboard. Meh. I have two more puzzles in the works, and I’ve decided I quite like this hobby… makes me feel all intellectual and stuff, like I actually use my brain for things other than thinking dirty thoughts about Johnny Depp.
I like to solve different riddles and puzzles. I even have a collection of most interseting of them. I can spend hours searching various conundrum in the internet. For example this nice story about child’s puzzle.
I’ve started like 10 puzzles and have yet to finish one in the 25 years. Little kids and cats and dogs have all misplaced, lost and eaten pieces, or I’ve taken so long that the puzzle had to be moved and then where do you store it….
I love working on puzzles while I’m watching TV and so I am determined to finish one – to completion. I got a very cool mystery one where there are clues in the puzzle that you must complete to find the solution to the mystery. So far so good.
