We went snorkeling! Haven’t done this is a very long time (since we’ve discovered surfing and paddle boarding), and loved it! Since my husband has an injury, we decided to take advantage of just relaxing at the beach and snorkel with the fish. I love when he holds my hand underwater and leads me along :D We had a beautiful time, saw lots of pretty fish and relaxed on the sand!

Snorkeling looks like fun! 14 months ago

I don’t have any snorkel gear or anything, but I’d like to take a snorkeling / diving class and travel to some beautiful places. The ocean contains so many places still untouched by humans. Of course, I wouldn’t be snorkeling there… but I expect to see some of the beauty and majesty of the undersea world wherever I end up snorkeling. I’m thinking about Cancun next Spring.

Snorkeled with B Last June 2007 16 months ago

B invited me to snorkel with him and his dad. It was the best experience there was! =) B taught me first how to breathe using the snorkeling gear. We first tried it near the rocky hill in front of La Luz. I had no vest then so it was a little scary. However, B was with me all the way. =)

When we went to snorkeling spot in Laiya, I had to wear a vest. It was a colorful and overwhelming experience! I can’t put it into words. ;) All I know is I’m glad I overcame my fear of going to a deep part of the ocean and just enjoy the fantastic view of marine lifeforms. :)

I’ve been about 4 times in my life and it’s always such an enjoyment and a wonderment at times to see the things you see. However if your ever in the Red Sea watch out for the jelly fish

We lived in Hawaii for three years, which is where I learned to snorkel. Snorkeling is one of my all-time favorite activities. I cannot recommend this activity enough!!!

Snorkeling in Thailand 17 months ago

I went snorkeling recently and was suprised at how fun it was! I was really really afraid when i was putting the mask on… i have a little bit of a phobia for not being able to breath freely. Sometimes i start to panic if im being even the slightest bit suffocated.

But i forced myself to get into the water with everyone else and after 10 mins i got used to it. I enjoyed it so much i didn’t want to get out when it was time to go back on the boat! I would definitely do this again given the opportunity… and i would also love to try diving underwater also!

I was scared 20 months ago

I was super worried about inhaling water and drowning. It doesn’t seem like the snorkel will stick up high enough out of the water. But it does! And I got to swim near a sea turtle, a couple of squid, and many amazing and stunning fish.

Haven't done this in awhile! 20 months ago

My husband and I went snorkeling today, which we haven’t done in quite some time thanks to surfing! But we’d heard about a huge pod of dolphins being around, so we went snorkeling to try and find them. While we didn’t see any today, we did get to check out a new spot and saw many other beautiful fish. My favorite is when the schools of fish would swim right past us. They were so close that I could touch them!
