best country ever. at least for me. i really fell in love with the land and the people were amazing. there was a ridiculous amount of things to do and explore while i was there. i will hopefully be able to go in the future…and possibly retire there. ;)

I remember my grandma talking about croatia when I was little. Oh, how I want to go there some day.

Wonderful trip! 2 years ago

Croatia always was on top of my list of fave holiday destinations.

My boyfriend and me made a road trip through this beautiful country. We saw a great many small villages which should remain unmentioned here and big cities like Dubrovnik as we drove along the shore…
We were hanging around at the beach and even took a car ferry for the first time of my life.

Disappearing into the depths... 2 years ago

The rugged coast, the rugged language, the simple next to the sublime. The wealth and the poverty. The coastline, the 1,220+ islands, the warm water, the chilly night wind. The all-night parties. The puffed-up chesty men and the “shminka” women parading around, roosters all. The quiet of the lapping waters and the yelling at the bars over football games. Such a small country, such a great diversity

Focus on the ocean. If you don’t have time, you can skip Zagreb.

Rijeka 3 years ago

In my opinion Rijeka was the most beautiful city in croatia. Split is nice and so is Zagreb, but Rijeka is like a dream. I can’t wait to go back to Croatia, it’s the most beautiful country I’ve visited.

I’m not sure why I have an interest in Croatia, but the interest started when I was working at a missions agency in the short-term missions department. I’m intrigued by it and have an interest in going there to visit. Maybe even take a short-term missions trip there some day.

won't regret it 3 years ago

there are million places to se on the Croatian coast and I’m sure no one will be sorry whatever place he chooses. If you don’t know exactly where to go – definitly visit Dubrovnik, i think you will like it, then Split, Trogir, Zadar and thousands of islands that are definitly worth seeing, it just depends whether you want peace and empty beaches or you wanna crowd, surfers, clubs and many people…
