Open a pet store

i would love to open an nline store catering for staffordshire bull terriers i have had three dogs myself i just love the breed

I would like to open a pet stre, but have no idea where to start or how to start. If anyone knows please me know.

i have wanted to open a pet shop since i to little to walk. my life gowl is to open one up, and i will do anything to do so.

I’d like to open a pet store, boutique style, grooming, organic and “green” supplies, a place to hang out and chat w neighbors. There are large corporate pet stores in the area but the trendy neighborhood has only one pet boutique (accessories and supplies). How can I assure the locals will come and spend?

And a grooming salon. Catering to smaller pets.
Does anyone have any links to wholesale grooming and pet supplies?
Has anyone on this list actually done this successfully?

I’m trying to find market analysis for a specific state (Boise, ID) for pet industry as I want to open a pet boutique. Suggestions? I have an opportunity to purchase a turn key boutique already open but the merchandise is not consistent w/the area demographics (which is one reason their loosing $ in my opinion.) Boise is similar to Seattle not LA or NY. As a result I do not want to absorb their 50K inventory. It might make better business sense to start my own from scratch. The market in all context should be as strong as WA but it isn’t. I want to be sure the market can currently support a boutique & have growth potential in the coming years. Any thoughts? I would also be thrilled to take on a knowledgable partner! c-mon who doesn’t like rocky mountain oysters!!! HA! HA!

I am planning on opening a pet store in the Houston area. The places I am thinking of are booming and there are few places to get pets and pet supplies than the huge chain stores out there. If anybody would be interested in coming together to help out and make a dream come true I would be honored to have you aboard.

Its my dream to open a pet shop and im currently finishing my business degree at the University to hopefully get some good ground to do so. Whats your current status looking like on the whole idea?

I have a lot of the ground work covered just need to write the business plan. Unfortunately I know nothing about writing a business plan and the software I bought is NO HELP AT ALL….

But I will not give up, this will happen. I even know where I am going to open it. In this little plaza.
