play the clarinet

I loved it. I sold mine after I graduated, but I would love to pick it up again.

I’ve been playing the clarinet for about ten years…it’s a really nice instrument and you can get many sounds out of it. It’s tone is lovely. =]

I have not played my clarinet since my senior year in h.s. and I graduated in ‘99. I recently took it out. I remember back when I started in grade school that I was in my second year of band and was one of the first to reach the high notes, which was a proud moment for me. I was put in the advance band all through out my years of school. Senior year when it was stressful I stopped playing.

Recently I took it out, and I could only play for 5 minutes before my lips started to hurt. Now I am determined to start playing more and getting back to one of the things that I love. Hopefully soon I will be able to play as well as I use to be.

i’m super-rusty - haven’t really played in years - so i want to sign up for lessons to get back in the habit. but i keep putting it off… i think i’m scared i’ll suck so bad i’ll embarrass myself.
