beckerkorn / BlueHeron whips it, into shape. Shape it up, get it straight.
Copan, Honduras. Highlight of the whole trip. I was 14 at the time … I still wanted to be an archeologist at 18! (This goal didn’t survive college, however…I was turned on to other career possibilities.)
Wonder around Pompei for a day, get lost, wonder what life must of been all those years ago!
It seems in another life at this point. I was known as a explorer. Nobody famous mind you, but a explorer all the same. I so miss my life as a wanderer,a warfarer.
There is a certain excitement steping foot where no one has treaded in hundreds, perhaps thousands of years. But alas there are few such places left. Can this goal be completed, can it be done and avoid the tourist with their digital cameras, tan shorts and MTV attention span? I intend to try. Either way I’m sure Adventure awaits somewhere yet on our little blue orb.
It’s fun to imagine what they must have been like before they were ruinous.
