If you youtube handstand there are some interesting takes on how to do it. Ive been at it for about almost two week, giving it a shot abotu every other day. After about 1 week of trying I actual was able to get my legs all the way up and hold a hand stand for about 5 secs before loosing balance. IT feels pretty cool when you can balance. Im still sucking at it big time but, its getting better. It also uses muscles you just dont use on a regular basis, so you got to build up to, and dont be afraid to bust your arse a little.
Well I did a handstand, but it wasnt wat i wanted. I want a complete nonmoving one. The one i did i kept moving my hands to stay up. My legs were also bent. I want to do it legs strait up
Well the headstand was completed quicker than i thought but i worry about a handstand mainly due to one wrist – but so gotta be attempted
*first get a matress or a soft area (tramoline , pillows , soft mat)
*then try to do a handstand but flip over so u land on ur back

Before you try to balance in a headstand learn to do a tripod first. A tripod is where you balance like youre about to do a headstand but instead of puting your feet strait up in the air, put your knees on your elbows. Once youve mastered this try doing it against a wall and bring your legs up. Once your can do it on the wall do it out in the open(The first time you try to do it in the open have someone spot you so you dont fall backwords and hurt your back)!
i was all scared to do a handstand from stand position, i always used to do it from the ground XD and it looked jus stupid, thing is i can stay up more several minutes, so it`s not about strength XD
jus yesterday, i tried doin it from stand position, it was AWESOME i have to say
i jus did the thing my friend told me , don`t think of the move before u do it XD! jus clear ur mind i was in a very clear state of mind in the tai chi class, so i suddenly found my self doin it with out a wall, and i stayed up, i was like O_O wat am i doin XD and landed safely too, that jus rocks ^!! kung fu rocks!! i`ll let yall kno wen i do cartwheels :D good luck all, anybody needs hints, ask ^
