I spent five hours straight yesterday packing. I had a panic attack…not good. But what IS good is looking into my room and seeing only boxes and garbage bags. I still have to pack up my books and electronics (computer, ipod speakers, tv…stuff I can’t live without) but the bulk of it is over with. I wish I had a Before picture…you couldn’t see the floor for all the clothes (dirty and clean…) every surface was overflowing with makeup, random knick knacks, magazines, dishes (ew) and art. I’d say I’m 90% organized!

What a simple thing to get me motivated xD But when my new friend came for a visit, and those were the first words out of his mouth, I figured it was time for a change.
Wish me luck D:
I like stuff, and therefore I have a lot of stuff. Nothing important. Just stuff. You know, like random rocks and plastic tiaras and accordians. And a free-range pet mouse.
One of my other goals is to Move Out and it looks like there’s light at the end of the tunnel on that one. But with my room waste-deep in random crap that move is going to be ROUGH. So, before I reach the day when I walk in the door and just decide to board the shithole up, never again to see the light of day, I have to take matters into my own hands and ORGANIZE!
i really like to organize but i need help about exactly how to go about it and where to start.
hmmmmm. . . get your shit together babe, you’ll be happy about it later (CLEAN YOUR ROOM!!!)
I am organized with my school work & job, but my home is a mess. I want it to look neat and be dust-free.
Receiving a headboard and footboard, and out of state visitors has a real “kick into action” effect. It’s great. The room looks spacious and less college dormlike… it’s a great thing to awaken to basic order.
