Put the doors on my IKEA wardrobe

Just be careful when you’re putting in the shelves not to scrape the veneer…

My son was supposed to help me last night after he was done watching 4400. He ended up falling asleep and I was sooo bummed. I had just heated up the oven to make brownies for him as a sort of thank you. So tonight I asked him to help me and we couldn’t get them aligned right. Also, the door kept slipping..even though he’s strong enough (150 lbs) he’s still a kid. So, the door is laying back on the floor. I called my girlfriend and she said “You need a man”. _sighs

The thing kept falling on my head then my foot then it flipped over..i’m surprised it didn’t break in two. oh, it was so frustrating! It took me over two hours to stack things just the perfect height to prop it up on and screw the hinges into the frame. I’m not even going to bother with the drilling and putting the handles on. I just really want to get these doors on. I could really use the help of someone to just hold the door up while I turn the screws. My ex and I were going to put this thing together the day we broke up, June 23rd.

how stupid! I keep looking at the little images on the bag that holds the parts. I need to just do it. but i’m afraid it’ll be uneven.

But Still haven’t drilled holes in the doors for the hinges or handles. I’m afraid of drilling it and hanging them unevenly.

They’re on! Now for some scotch…
