My first update of one of my goals on this site. Late august of this year was my first serious bench in a long time, and i struggled to put up 185 8 reps. Today I hit, 225×8, which according to one caluculator puts my estimated max at 285. 40 pounds in 3 months I’m pretty pleased with, and hopefully i can get the last 15 in a month or two.

Last workout I did 245×8 and then 265×3. I think there’s a good chance I could hit 300 now. I’m going to continue eating well and lifting for 2-3 weeks, then maybe I’ll bite the bullet and go for 300 again.
i am at 290 now. im so close i can taste it! i have about a month before i go back to the states, and i want to at least have 315 by then!
...but I am not giving up like last time. I need to find a plateau buster! Tried negatives and super sets, maybe nutrition is what is lacking?

...is 265 from High School. During Cross Country, no less. Body weight calisthenics are really where it’s at. Currently, I’m putting up 250 with no intense lifting. I think I can nail this by summer’s end.
Unfortunately, I am at the 255lbs plateau again. I guess this is where I either let the gains I’ve made slip away or man up and put in the real work it will take to achieve this goal. I choose the latter!
The last 5 pounds took a while but last night I finally benched 300. Next goal will be 320.
10×135 6×190 5×205 5×205 4×215 4×215, I will be up to 255lbs in a few weeks. I am shooting for July to have this finished.
