Go on a vacation by myself

...but I ended up visiting someone I know. I still took the trip by myself, and did a buncha stuff by myself. It wasn’t a true vacation by myself, but maybe I’ll try again someday.

I’m thinking San Francisco, because I was supposed to go with someone else, but they bailed, and one of my friends thought it might be nice to get away from everything and be on my own. I’ve never been there, and don’t really know anyone there, but I’ll probably stay in hostels or something and just walk around the city and find nice places to write. I wish it was going to be a little warmer, but I think I can handle it. I spent four years in Boston, what’s a little Bay Area cold going to do to me?

Last summer (shows how much I update this…ack!) I travelled to BC twice. The first was a house I rented in Invermere for a week. A couple friends and my brother and his friends came out to visite for a few days each, but I eneded up staying a couple of nights and a day by myself. Very scarry!!! Lol. I had fun though, except for the scariness at night, but I went to the beach and shopping all on my own, it was ggod.

The second was a couple weeks later, I went to Vernon with my mom for three days. She dropped me off at the airport and I flew to Vancouver for the day to meet a friend, then took a feiry by myself all the way to Nanaimo that same night to see another friend. Spent the day i Nanaimo and fairied to Salt Spring Island to see my little cousin for three days. It wasn’t really on my own except for the travel part, but that’s the scarriest!

So I did the first small baby step of this vacation on my own thing, and next summer, maybe I’ll be up for more! Yayness!

I’m going to Canada!!!!! by myself!!! I’m flying into Detroit on Friday morning. When I get there I might be meeting the man of my dreams. I’m very excited.

That would be the most amazing place to go to by myself…don’t know if I could for long though…so maybe start out with a road trip on my own. Baby steps, lol.
