    Crisis  — 1 week ago

We had a minor but important crisis on Saturday morning.
This sucked up the rest of the weekend’s energy, and the rest of the time went more-or-less mindlessly.

I’m not sure what I could have done about it. I think maybe if I had proper planning for the weekend, I could just have had a change of plan.

    Flexible.  — 4 weeks ago

There was nothing undeliberate about this weekend, even though the plans changed and Sunday turned out to be mostly dedicated to sleeping. Even my eating was under control: I deliberately ate as much as I liked at the dinner on Saturday.

Stop the cycle  — 1 month ago

My eating on weekends should be more deliberate. I’m trying to lose weight, but after every weekend my weight is up a bit, and I spend the rest of the week getting it down again.

    Weekend bed-time  — 2 months ago

I go to bed too late on weekends. This makes for a very slow start in the mornings, and threatens deliberate action. I’ve found some approaches to this problem that seems to work, I just need to remember to implement them.

Two things  — 3 months ago

It seems that a deliberately-spent weekend needs two things. The first is a to-do list, just like any weekday but with different things on it.

The second thing is a realistic expectation. Weekends do not have more time than other days of the week, so it does not make sense to expect more out of a weekend than out of two weekdays.

It would be a good start.  — 4 months ago

For some reason I’m resisting making my weekend to-do list.

Partial List  — 11 months ago
    1. Wash the car.
    2. Get new wiper blades (before the rain starts).
    3. Get oil.
    4. Listen to music
    5. Sit in the sun (vir oulaas)
    6. Do a crossword.
    7. Read a book
    8. Listen to more music.
    Filled  — 12 months ago

Midnight, Saturday, and so far not an idle moment.

    Forethought  — 1 year ago

It’s Monday, and I’ve already started making my list for next weekend.

    List  — 1 year ago

Making a list for weekends seems to be just as important as making a list for weekdays. Also important is remembering to read it.
