Ride my bike to Fairmount Park via the Schuylkil River Trail

well i moved away from philly, and now it doesnt seem that important, or like anything i’ll want to do. i still want to go on extended bike rides in pretty areas, but there is no longer a need to bike to fairmount park. oh well.

Very cool thing to do on a summer day. Too bad it’s winter now!

oh noooo! sadly, we were rained out of our biking adventure…

my 3 best girls and i have promised each other that before we graduate and go our own ways from lovely philly, we’ll all go bike the schuykill river trail together. i can’t wait for spring to really get here so we can do it!

The trail is very flat and scenic so it makes for a pleasant ride. Also once you get into the city you can go anywhere without having to worry about parking or paying for transportation. I actually rode my bike in on unity day this summer and after spending the whole day riding around enjoying the festivities we took the train home.

I did this last year , 25 miles both ways. But I need to do it more often.. A great ride. I need for this weather to be kind to me. ha ha..It’s a great place to ride. ..Dennis
