get my PhD in sociology

I have all of my letters of rec and my transcripts but Valpo lost my dissertation in the grad office. I am about to die. The only way to get another copy is to ask my professor—who I love but is totally disorganized. I know he wont have a copy. Sigh.

I have a week and half left to write and revise and then a dissertation defense the first week of December. It’s been an 8.5 year journey but I’m almost Dr. Anniebeegoode!

I finally looked up programs that offered my degree.. most are not in IL or IN. Sadly I will have to leave the state (sadly in the summer that is not so much in the winter as I hate snow). I really like the program at FSU, but that is so far away. I took the LSAT before I started my first grad degree but am now required to take the GRE so I have to do that. I need to study as I am required to get a 1000 combined to get into FSU and I SUCK at standardized tests. But hey.. I am getting going. That is a start.
