become an expert in something

now to decide in what! this may take some time

The confusion for me is that I am so interested in so many things it is hard to choose a path. How in the world do you decide which is the right path? Emotionally I would have a hard time letting go of the thought that any choice I make is the wrong choice, which is restrictive in itself.

Do you go for the dream choice, the one that you are sure will make you happy? Do you go down the path of least resistance, the one that utilizes one of your more skilled areas. Is it a case of choosing the road of a hobby or combination…I can’t decide….so that must be the first step. Get some clarity around what is most likely path of success (as defined by yourself) and then strike out with a passion.

Seems like a lofty goal. An expert is quite more than just a knowledgeable person. I am good at some things, but would love to be the one that someone says, “she is the expert…”

i really want to become a pro at something, there is nothing that im really that good at…. this is one of my bigger goals to find something i like doing and practice enough to where i become a expert

I feel that I’m an expert in a few different areas right now (weight loss, fitness, project management, community playground builds), but you know what? I’d really like to become an expert in something on a regular basis. Maybe spend a whole year studying a subject, then do another one the next year. But on what? A period in World History. Oceanography. Lighthouses. The Gold Rush. Geocaching. I don’t know what!

There are a lot of things we learn as a side effect of living on this planet, then there are those things we learn to do a job, create something important to us or meet some other goal. You may be surprised to find there are others who want to learn what you know how to do and that you can share those things with them. I have become an expert is business launching, marketing with no budget and making dreams happen.
