Travel to Ecuador

I spent New Year’s in Quito and it was wonderful! I loved the city (or what little I saw of it) and the people I met. Sadly, I only spent a few days there. I went to Isla Isabela in the Galapagos which was wonderful! I worked there for a month for the Park documenting the flora and fauna. Beautiful trails, beaches, animals… The locals are wonderful, with a great sense of humor. I would like to visit the other islands in the future, and of course check out more of mainland Ecuador (Amazon! but I am scared of the parasites and all that)

PS – I did not get sick the entire month I spent there! (well, excluding the flight to Quito… damn turbulence)

So it turns out I will not be spending this summer in Ecuador. Sad for me, but at some point in my life, I will go there. Before I die.
