I just DO IT. I have always kept duplicate checks making this not a big deal really, but the balance was not kept running in the register itself. Now it is. I will continue this, as it’s much less stressful to be able to just look and see the balance at a glance. 7 years ago

I did at least get it balanced finally after a couple of months of not doing so. I have started keeping a running balance again, and made the determination that my partner and I will use only ONE checkbook instead of using two on the same account. That just got to be too confusing for me to keep it balanced that way, so….I’m putting away the extra checkbook and we will just have to stick with sharing ONE, even if it’s less convienient. 7 years ago
