Mike is enjoying the fall.
I purchased a coffee grinder a couple of weeks ago. It does make a big difference in the taste of coffee. Now when I brew a pot, I use fresh ground coffee. It’s great!

Buy whole bean coffee and grind it yourself! It makes a world’s difference.
And try a french press. ooooh yummy.
I have an Italian Espresso machine- my little coffee robot. Whilst I don’t actually grind my beans fresh I do get fresh roasted and ground coffee from a local deli…. Funnily enough, because I’ve drunk only really good coffee over the years I sometimes drink starfuqs or chain coffee shop stuff (and I do mean STUFF) almost for the perverse thrill of drinking bad coffee.
Also I love my Vietnamese coffee filter which sits over the cup and drip into a single serve. Excellent with a vietnamese blend and sweetened traditionally with condensed milk- superb for iced coffee with ice cubes added.
I really should cut down on caffeine and try sleeping once in a while….

I decided to give New England coffee a try. It’s pretty good. They have many different blends and varieties. I bought Colombian Supremo. It has a nice, rich flavor. I’ll have to try some of the other types too.

We “subscribed” to a coffee service and got a good basic automatic brewer that makes much better coffee. We prefer French roast and espresso italiano. Then someone shared the “blender method” to make one’s own cappuccino. Zillions cheaper than starsucks (in which we still occasionally indulge) &/or one of those exhorbitantly priced espresso machines – and it works for us!

I haven’t bought a coffee grinder yet but I have purchased better coffee. It has helped and keeping a clean coffee put has helped too. I think I need a new coffee maker though. The one I have just doesn’t make “burning hot” coffee. It’s probably a safety issue.
The coffee maker companies probably don’t want to be sued by people who spill the coffee on their laps.

I need to get a coffee grinder first. Everything I’ve read says that grinding the coffee beans will make the best coffee.
I don’t even drink coffe that much but my friends all want me to make it for them.
I recommend buying beans and grinding them yourself just before brewing. Use two tablespoons of ground coffee (10 grams) for each six fluid ounces (180 milliliters) of water. I prefer using bottled spring water and a bodum or “French Press.”

We need to get a better coffee system. Maybe an espresso machine.
