meet like minded people

not been on here for a while, sorry guys. But let me see…have met some incredible people recently including: Michael Palin, Stephen Fry, George McGavin to name a few..some incredibly inspirational people like Roz Savage, the Medical Director for NASA..list is endless. Loads of like minded people, and so much more than I ever expected. Many through setting up my own wilderness, aviation, space medicine society called Warwick WASPS. And because I have been structuring my time and networking, to try and get myself a bit more out there and doing things. Hopefully things will continue this way. Its been an amazing month so far.

when moving to a new place and a different culture it can be hard to find your niche. I’ve net amazing friends that have nurtured me and made my life here the amazing adventure it is, but I want to find more of those whom I can truly connect with on multiple. deeper levels.

I would love to meet like-minded people, but how?

definitely doing this, its amazing and makes me so much happier. made two new friends this week as well and should be spending a lot of time with them at med school too, so that is great. my new attitude is definitely helping.

fantastic evening with the URNU, love everyone loads, great bunch of people. Also had a great day working in the ENT clinic, met some fascinating people. good day all round.

not alowing med school access into my personal and private life is definitely key to achieving this and building up networks and meeting like minded people. none of the med school are like minded and thats incredibly frustrated as always end up battling with them to achieve what i want to achieve. keeping closely linked to my own people will be the key to success on my course, and help me keep my eye on the ball. must not get dragged into med school politics and negative attitudes.

well, I certainly have been meeting more like minded people, but not necessarily in environments where I want to meet them most and spend all my time. Am amazed at the great pople I have met through facebook and conferences and research. Have come to realise that its the people that believe in and don’t judge me that matter the most to me. So I need to stop pining for people that ‘get me’ at med school, and just focus on the people that are important in the other areas of my life, where I will be spending the majority of my time when I leave med school in 4 years!

Seems that senses are curious what to type here, as there is an absence of intuitive do-how, or why this “write and entry about this” is for.

Originally my intentful motive was to find likeminded kind, so, i’m going to further investigate via surfing this site .
