Send off for my Provisional Driving Licence

i am sending off for my first provisional. it says on the envelope that i need a postage stamp. could this just be a normal first class stamp? also it says that i have to end it to the correct address. i thought that i just had to stick it in the envelope and send it off but it doesnt seem that easy.
what do i need to do for my application form to get to the dvla through the post as im not too sure how the system works.

I have just filled out the online application and have got to teh card details section which I’m about to do. I was just wondering once i have done that what documents i had to post to them. Im guessing becasue i dont have a valid passport i would have to send in:

Birth Certificate
National Insurance Card
A signed Photo of myself
My signature

Is this correct?

finally! it arrived today and even though it’s a rubbish photo…I’ve got ID!

i am making a goal to send off for my provisional licence, which i have always wanted to do since 17yrs now 30yrs. It would really help out myself and my 2 sons one of which has a adhd and would really help this out by being able to take him places that i can’t get to without a car or severe hassle.
By the end of the year i hope to have sent away for it and had at least one a couple of lessons.
(money will be tight as paying for holiday in october just now then christmas but really need to start as once i do then i will continue)

i really want to drive but need ot get my provisinal kee messing it up

Sent off for it a few days back, did it all online was really tedious filling in the forms and getting a passport photo. But hopefully the ID should arrive soon, then I can do my CBT and buy a ped! It was relatively easy to do online, still had to send off a photo in the post though.

i need to remember to do this, im going to need it for ID.
