knit a pair of baby booties

I think these took around an hour and a half a piece, including making up time. I’m done—they just need buttons! I made the first one oddly small, so I’m just going to match it and send a small pair off to charity.

Phew – finished.

They didn’t actually take very long – I was just procrastinating loads. Thanks to KP they are at long last a duo. The sewing up was really fiddly and the pattern seemed incomprehensible in some parts.

I would totally recommend getting a friend to read out the stitches and count off the rows/stitches as you go – it’s a big help.

I’ve finished one little lemon bootie – but that was quite a while ago so the second one is taking ages – as I keep procrastinating (!) and I can’t really remember how I did certain bits of the pattern…...this requires too much concentration at 36 weeks pregnant!!!
