Figure out why a good old fashioned fist fight will earn you 5 years in jail

This entry is about one man fighting one other man bare handed. I am a firm believer that if a man hits a woman then maybe 5 years would be a good sentance. Two guys though? I can’t see it earning such a bad punishment. Some people deserve to be beat up. It goes back to when I was a child and learned right from wrong at the end of a good swat from a belt. Nothing that left scars…just enough pain so that the lesson stayed fresh in my mind. Well now all these people who think it is ok to do idiotic things because no one will pop them in the mouth for fear of jail time just run amok doing things that 20 years ago would have had you spitting teeth. Cursing out other drivers while you yack on the cell phone and swerve around, trying to hook up with women you know damn well have someone, talking trash like you are a badd ass when you just know that you aren’t worth 5 years. These are a few examples of things I see everyday that you wouldn’t have seen so often if it was ok to just haul off and adjust someone’s attitude. No weapons…no friends…just two guys and a whole lot of anger. Damn I miss the good old days and I am not sure how long I can remain in a PC overwhelmed world before I have to make the decision of if it is worth it or not.

it used to get you 3 days suspension from school and grounded for a month. When did life become so PC that people aren’t allowed to pop people in the mouth if they really deserve it. I am not advocating domestic violence. This only really counts for man on man or woman on woman fighting. When your punishment was suspension there is a certain point where you can say to yourself “The pleasure of doing this is worth the three days” and that was that. Now it is actually easier to think….”if I am gonna get 5 years anyway I might as well take him out and hide his body. At least then I have a shot at getting away.”
