I would like to finish my rug
How to finish my latch hook rug
How I did it: I did this at a project for school as we were learning about medieval times in Europe. I came right home from school and just worked away! You do end up sacrificing a ton of time, I spent 21 hours on it in total!! The accomplishment is really worth it and so relieving and you feel amazing. I was thinking how I wont have to nag myself to do it.
Lessons & tips: Set small goals. Finish the flower by the end of the night or start the moon. Things like that.
Listen to music! I find watching a TV show or talking just ends up side tracking yourself.
Count the correct number of pieces of yarn in each colour, for a third of your project. Lay them out in the correct order and just latch away. It's faster then always stopping to get more yarn.

I started mine when my nan was alive. Now she’s gone, I really want to finish it as a memory of her, as she taught me.
I have this huge rug I need to finish. It’s about half way done, but one row takes me about an hour. I really want to finish it though. I would like to make the goal of finishing two rows a week at at least. We’ll see my progress.
I am well was doing a latch hook rug for my bathroom and yet to finish it because its so timing into latch hooking I will go back to it then stop then back then stop but, Will surely have to finish it up soon.
Because I haven’t the time to cut all the yarn I need, the company that made it is long gone and I have too many other things occupying my time. I’ll be back to this eventually…
I went to Jo-Ann fabric Friday night and get this – they don’t have bundles of yard. Kits only or yarn I’d have to cut myself and I can’t cut all the white I need with my achey hands. BLAR!! Now I need to hit Pat Catans or another local fabric/craft store…
EDIT: Don tried to surprise me and Pat Catans didn’t have any either. I may have to cut my own… BOO!!
I got a poorly constructed kit and I don’t have enough white yarn to keep going… I’ll have to run to Jo-Ann fabric soon and buy some more. This puts the rug on the back burner and I’ll be working on another creative project to fill the nights.
i’ll do some of it tomorrow. im almost half way done with it!!
