study for finals

I have taken three of my finals as of today. AND I have studied for all of them (YAY ME). So far I have received an A in Marketing and a B in Jazz. I am thinking that I will know what I got in Calculus by tomorrow afternoon. I know I passed!

Last night I spent several hours studying for my Math final. I really think that I will do well on the is one and that I will be able to pass the course. I haven’t studied yet today but I am at least going to go over the material. Then I have until 4pm to finish studying so I can go take the exam.

Last night I studied for the Marketing exam I have this morning. If I had realized the true impact my final was going to have on my grade I would have studied earlier and longer, but for some reason I didn’t think the final was going to be figured into my average (my processor has a very unique grading system). Regardless, I only need a 50 to get a B in the course, but I need a 89 or better to get a A. I am not really sure how that works but that’s what I figured out.

Anyway, even though this doesn’t do much for my goal in eliminating procrastination, it does say something for this goal (studying for my finals).

I think I will study a little more before I go take the exam.

I work at a security desk on my campus and tomorrow I work from 6am to 6pm so I am planning to study for at least 4 hours. 2 hours of Accounting and 2 hours of Calculus. If I complete my 4 hours I will treat myself to getting my eyebrows done.

I did the take home test for my Accounting class… Its technically class work but it will help me prepare for my exam since its cumulative.

Today, I scheduled 2 study sessions!!!!

One is Thursday before my final math class before our finals. The other is with a friend on Saturday, I am planning on studying from 2 to 8 so this should be enough time to get majority of my studying done!

Whew! I am on my way to passing :-)

Microeconomics and Human Biology. Bio should be pretty simple…but the Economics one…that will be tough

Again I readied all my materials to study, and didn’t study at all. I didn’t budget enough time to study. So, I am giving this goal a fail. Now I just need to hand in my take-home final (can’t really study for that-it’s open book after all) and I’m done for the semester!

so, i didn’t study for this one at all. i suck. i packed up my computer to study and everything and just didn’t. that means so far i failed this goal. my last in class exam is tomorrow, plus my take home is due tomorrow. i am already on the road to irresponsibilty: i’m going to see a movie tonight. it’s like a co-worker bonding thing. either way, hopefully i didn’t fail it. i only used 50 minutes of the 2 hour exam period. mer.

I’m SOO done!! and I should feel good.

but

instead i feel at a loss. what do i do with myself now?

AND, who ever really knows how effective studying is. I mean, all of that could have been a waste of time and I would have done just as well if I had been doing something completely different all week long. We will never know.
