    My guess is that my father’s personalitly rubbed off on me. He is a very proud man. Even when he has done something that is really wrong, he will not admit that he is wrong. Even when others tell him differently, he still stubbornly stands by whatever it is that makes him right. My brother has this trait as well. So, I guess that this is part of the reason why.

    I do not think that it is a positive trait at all. I feel like sometimes that I am lying to myself. Deep, deep, deep, DEEP down I know that I am wrong, but it is a challenge for me to outright say it. I defend myself no matter what.

    My husband asks me all the time why I cannot just say that I was wrong. Instead, I start getting defensive and making excuses.
